Berghaus and Eldon Leisure Centre are holding a bouldering competition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of arguably the UK's best bouldering wall THE BERGHAUS WALL .

When Bendcrete Climbing Walls built this wall in 1990 it was almost revolutionary in scale and complexity. 20 years on it still ranks as one of the best bouldering facilities in the UK.

The competition will take place on the Berghaus Wall which is situated in the Eldon Precinct in the centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne and is open to entries from all age groups. There are seperate event categories for adult males and females; junior males and females and veteran (over 50) males and females.
