Designing a climbing wall is a creative, complex process which requires the allocation of adequate time and resourses in order to get it right first time

We recommend that once a decision has been made to acquire a wall the client should produce a design brief. This is not difficult - it's a way of organising your ideas. To assist you in this process we recommend that you consult and involve your local climbers. The ideal design should cater for the conflicting demands of the range of abilities from novices to experienced climbers. Site, budget, function and management are also factors to consider
